Machu Picchu Adventure travel or Inca jungle trail. This new route is considered one of the more beautiful and complete alternative routes to Machu Picchu. Because of it’s flexible and beautiful zone, the first day you will bike for 4 hrs, and the rest of the days, you will hike to Machu Picchu.
Beginning from the 4215 m.s.n.m. and descend to 2220 m.s.n.m. where you will enjoy various landscapes from the Puna rustic to the tropical forest. You will be able to appreciate archaeological complexes or find small sections of Inca trails with stone steps, that are not visited by many tourists, beautiful waterfalls, natural thermal baths, and exotic fruits. See the daily life of settlers of this zone whom you will find to be very amiable and willing to share their land with you.

Day 1: Cusco/ Santa Maria

We pick you up from your hotel in Cusco and transfer by private transportation to the trailhead to Machu Picchu Adventura travel to Abra Malaga, here choose the bike, helmet and gloves and our guide give to briefing to this route, please listen the information, remember is no competition. We will start to downhill to Santa Maria (From 4650 m - 2440 m), in this route, you will appreciate archeological site, birds, medicinal plants, snakes, butterflies and tropical fruits and also visit local families in its daily routine. Arrive to Santa Maria and accommodation, in the afternoon, it's up for you, if you would like to do Rafting (optional). This night you can take a shower at a family run hostel

Day 2: Santa Maria/ Santa Teresa

Trekking to Machu Picchu. Early morning, continue our trip, which gets progressively steeper, until arriving at the welcoming family restaurant, where you can relax in hammocks, admiring the coca plant and take on refreshments while being entertained by the family monkey. After a short while you will reach the real Inca Trail, which winds around precipitous slopes and sheer drops for approximately half a mile. Be warned this is not for people who suffer from vertigo! We will descend to Colcamayo, where you can take a bath at the natural hot springs before going up to Santa Teresa located along the Santa Teresa River, accommodation in the family homestead.

Day 3: Santa Teresa/ Machu Picchu pueblo

Trekking and Zip Line to Machu Picchu. Wake up, have breakfast before taking private transport to Lucmabamba town, we will see the sunset with a stunning scenery of one of the main highlights in South America Machupicchu, then descending the path easily followed down to the bamboos groves and into forest of increasingly thick vegetation and tall trees some excellent birdwatching opportunities and then we can see the faint outlines. Reaching to la Hidreoelectrica we follow the rail tracks heading up the Urubamba valley to our last night (Aguas Calientes).

Day 4: Machu Picchu and Huayna Picchu mountain

After an early morning breakfast we will walk up to Machu Picchu sanctuary and entering early for the best photos opportunities and then spend the rest of the morning visiting and exploring the ruins and take the time to climb up to Hayna Picchu mountain before heading down to Aguas calientes, in the night take the train to Ollantaytambo and tourist bus to Cusco.
